'A real estate paralegal is someone who works on real estate matters under the supervision of licensed attorneys in a law-related setting or law office. Real estate paralegals do not practice law, as they are not licensed attorneys, but they help in many aspects of real estate matters, including conducting title searches, preparing initial drafts of deeds of trust and mortgages and other real estate financing documentation. Real estate paralegals are sometimes called real estate legal assistants. Real estate lawyers rely on real estate paralegals to assist them as much as possible in helping get the work done within the bounds of legal and ethical rules.

Real Estate Paralegal

The candidate should have 5+ years working as a Paralegal or Title Closer. Must also have experience preparing various contracts, lease agreements, etc. Must be able to prepare closing package. Recent experience preparing final HUD is essential. Polished professional appearance is expected. Will occasionally accompany attorney to real estate developer office. A degree or certificate in relevant field is preferred.

Senior Real Estate Paralegal

The candidate will be assisting the Firm's Real Estate Group with pre-closing tasks. Will conduct due diligence reviews, title searches and survey reviews. Should have a Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with a paralegal certificate from an ABA qualified program. Must have 6+ years of Real Estate/Finance experience. Should have experience of preparing UCC financing statements, preparing Closing Instruction Letters, preparing closing documents and binders, reviewing title policies and working with title companies regarding any policy issues. Must be familiar with Filing appropriate documents with the Secretary of State, Department of Corporations, Internal Revenue Service and/or the Franchise Tax Board.

Real Estate Paralegal

The candidate should have 5+ years of real estate transactional experience. Must have a thorough understanding of reviewing and analyzing title and survey documents, preparing work product relating to that and negotiating title policies in connection with land acquisition and disposition transactions. Must have prior law firm experience in a title and survey review capacity.

Real Estate Paralegal

The candidate should have College degree with ABA Paralegal Certificate. Should have 3-5 years of Real Estate litigation or comparable experience is essential. Should have litigation experience. Ideal should have 3+ years of litigation experience in Real Estate, and a strong sense of professionalism. Experience in residential or commercial real estate is preferred. Previous experience and familiarity with titles is preferred. Experience with claims and compliance is essential. Familiarity with TRID, GFE, and HUD closings from start to finish is essential. In depth knowledge of SoftPro is essential.

Real Estate Paralegal

The candidate will be responsible for drafting and organizing transactional documents and conducting closing transactions. Will assist with organizing checklists, including arranging closing documentation and conducting due diligence. Should have 1+ years of real estate experience and a Bachelor's Degree.

Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

The candidate will be responsible for the commercial real estate department. Will be obtaining, preparing and/or filing various documents, certificates, statements, amendments, and forms; forming limited liability companies and other entities. Performing UCC and other searches. Preparing and tracking closing checklists and transactional documentation from letter of intent through completion of closing binders. Participating in and attending closings; obtaining Registry of Deeds documentation; assisting with various lease documents; reviewing due diligence materials. Obtaining documents from various governmental agencies. Bachelor's Degree required in paralegal studies required. Should have 5+ years of commercial real estate work experience. Technology savvy with a strong knowledge working with Microsoft Office needed.

Real Estate Paralegal / Closer
