'A real estate attorney is an attorney who works on real estate matters. This type of attorney interprets and renders advice on laws and regulations that pertain to real property, including housing law, commercial and residential property development projects, real estate financing and leasing, Real Estate Investment Trusts, land sales, title issues and searches, escrow arrangements, property management, rights of way, and lease disputes. Real estate transactional attorneys negotiate and draft contracts regarding real estate transactions. Real estate litigation attorneys handle lawsuits, court cases and arbitrations regarding real estate disputes.

Real Estate Attorney
Seeking a Real Estate Attorney with experience in commercial real estate investment and fund experience including: Preparation of real estate fund documents;Representing institutional investors in private real estate funds; Preparation of joint venture agreements; General experience representing funds investing in commercial real estate. Should have 2 - 6 years of commercial real estate investment and funds experience. Must have Joint venture experience. Experience within a large law firm is required.
Real Estate Finance Associate
The candidate should have 7-8 years of experience. Substantial experience working with private equity funds in connection with acquisitions and financing of real estate assets and institutional lenders that originate loans for the CMBS market is required, preferably with lenders. Must have business experience that can be converted into client relationships and substantial experience running transactions with minimal oversight. Outstanding academic credentials and law firm experience are required. Must be admitted to the New York Bar.

The candidate should have 3-6 years of experience, with strong drafting and transactional skills. Experience with leasing, financing, construction and environmental matters all helpful. Connecticut Bar membership is preferred. Must have strong academic credentials and excellent research, writing and oral communication skills.

Should have 2+ years of experience in representing financial institutions in lending transactions, including syndicated credit facilities, private placement of notes, and acquisition financing.
Finance and Real Estate Associate
The candidate should have 3-6 years of commercial real estate investment and fund experience including the preparation of real estate fund documents, representing institutional investors in private real estate funds, preparation of joint venture agreements on behalf of institutional investors and general experience representing funds investing in commercial real estate. Large law firm experience strongly preferred. Must have a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member in good standing of the Bar.
