- Provides advice and counseling, investigations and training, employee relations and negotiations, and litigation services in all areas of labor and employment law
- Proven track record of satisfied clients and successful court and arbitration decisions
ABOUT THE POSITION
- Unique opportunity for an Employment Litigation Associate to join the firm's expanding Labor and Employment practice
- Major role in litigation representing private and public entity employers
- Ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in employment litigation
- Desire for trial or arbitration experience in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, FLSA and wage and hour claims
- Familiarity with legal research, drafting motions and pleadings, taking and defending depositions, and managing discovery
- Experience in providing advice and counsel on employment law compliance and labor relations is advantageous
- Must have excellent academic credentials, analytical skills, and dedication to superior client service
- Knowledge of California employment law and ability to work independently and collaboratively
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Hybrid work schedule during Covid-19 pandemic
- Salary range of $160,000 - $200,000 based on years of experience, qualifications, and office location
- Reasonable billable hours requirement
- Annual discretionary and billable hours bonuses
