The ideal candidate will possess excellent academic credentials and a strong knowledge of employment law. They should also have experience handling and managing employment litigation matters and providing employment advice and counsel. As an Employment & Labor Associate with **Members Only**, your responsibilities will include providing day-to-day employment and human resources counseling for clients, drafting employment agreements and policies, and handling employment litigation matters. You will also have the opportunity to advise and support on traditional labor and NLRB matters, as well as play a key role in formulating legal strategy on litigation matters.

Position Requirements:

- 2-5 years of employment litigation and counseling experience
- Strong writing and analytical skills
- Must be licensed to practice law in the State of California and in good standing

The salary range for this position is $225,000 to $345,000, based on experience and office location. Additionally, **Members Only** US LLP offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401k, short-term/long-term disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, paid holidays, and discretionary bonuses.

You will also have the chance to support the employment aspects of due diligence in mergers and acquisitions, including reviewing employment provisions of asset and stock purchase agreements.

Position Responsibilities:

- Providing day-to-day employment and human resources counseling for clients
- Reviewing, analyzing, and drafting employment agreements, employee handbooks and policies, severance agreements, and other employment documents
- Handling employment litigation matters, including single-plaintiff, executive compensation, wage-hour class actions, and PAGA actions, and administrative charges
- Taking and defending depositions in employment-litigation matters and managing written-discovery phrases of litigation matters
- Working with the team to provide guidance to clients on sensitive personnel issues and policy review and implementation
- Advising and supporting on traditional labor and NLRB matters
- Supporting employment aspects of due diligence in mergers and acquisitions, including reviewing employment provisions of asset and stock purchase agreements
- Performing a key role in formulating legal strategy on litigation matters
- Supporting the team by performing work on other matters as needed

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate practical ideas and solutions through concise written work product and direct client engagement
- Organized, efficient, and able to prioritize, delegate, and manage complex and detail-oriented assignments
- Understanding the importance of exceeding client expectations and providing excellent client service

Technical Skills:

- 2-5 years of employment litigation and counseling experience is required
- Strong writing and analytical skills

Other Requirements:

- Must be licensed to practice law in the State of California and be in good standing
