'Attorney
The candidate should have 2-4 years of litigation experience in insurance bad faith, coverage, catastrophe and general property and casualty work. Only candidates with the stated background will be considered.
Associate Attorney
The candidate should preferably have 1-3 years of litigation experience. Third year students will be considered. Should demonstrate strong advocacy skills, a passion for trial work and a commitment to residing in the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan Area. Trial or oral advocacy experience is preferred.
Family Law Attorney
The candidate should have 3-7 years of experience in Family Law and a book of business. Strong academic credentials from an ABA accredited school required. A Certified Family Law Specialist is a plus. Must have considerable experience handling all aspects of Family Law work including trials.
Associate Attorney
The candidate will have significant opportunities for client interaction and involvement in litigation, including conducting discovery, with reasonable oversight and mentorship as appropriate based on level of experience. Should have 0-5 years of experience. Must possess excellent research and writing skills, show initiative, be capable of handling multiple assignments simultaneously, and, of equal importance, demonstrate a strong commitment to representing the interests of working people. Previous labor and employment and/or judicial clerkship experience preferred. Admitted status, or anticipated admission within six (6) months, in AZ is required. Admitted status, or a demonstrated interest in becoming admitted within a year, in IA or NM is a plus. Spanish speaking applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.'
