Sometimes life just knocks us on our feet. Whether something big happens that knocks you off course or you are just feeling worn down by an everyday struggle, we all need a little boost now and then to get back on track with our goals.
Remember, getting back on track doesn’t always mean diving in and going at it 100%, because that’s often where we wear ourselves down and then we end up in a cycle of quitting, going all in, quitting again, etc. Start with small steps and daily actions that you can add into your life one day or week at a time.
Are you trying to get healthier? Try drinking more water this week, and then next week start adding in an extra serving of vegetables each day. When you create habits rather than making yourself feel restricted and overwhelmed, you’re much more likely to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
If you’re anything like me then you thrive on motivational quotes. Choose your favorites from below and make them your phone background, your computer background, or even print them out and tape them up on your bathroom mirror. And most importantly, remember why you wanted to achieve your goal in the first place.
Gain an advantage in your legal job search. LawCrossing uncovers hidden positions that firms post on their own websites and industry-specific job boards—jobs that never appear on Indeed or LinkedIn. Don't miss out. Sign up now!
