Prior to accepting a position with GreenPoint, Kenner spent 18 years with Zurich Insurance, during which time he was the head of Staff Legal. He was also one of the founding members of the American Bar Association Committee on Staff Legal and has served on the Board of Editors of the Massachusetts Law Review, a NITA Trial Advocacy Institute faculty member, a fellow of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation, and Chair of the Boston Bar Association's Tort Committee. Furthermore, through his involvement with the Board of Bar Overseers Hearing Committee, Kenner has headed lawyers' disciplinary cases.
Before working at Zurich Insurance, Kenner spent 15 years as a partner at Nutter McClennan & Fish LLP.
He graduated with high honors from George Washington University Law School and holds a BA in Philosophy from Syracuse University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
