Included in the comments describing the nature of the case are Millogo's claims that the defendant created a blog calling him a scam artist, a fraudster and a sociopath. Millogo alleges the defendant had no basis for these accusations, and she created the blog with malice and published it on the internet via Google.
Millogo is suing for libel and slander, and claims the blog entry caused him to lose several job opportunities. In addition, he claims the blog has caused him to have sleepless nights, an inability to focus on school work and it has caused him to fear that all of his friends, acquaintances and possible employee have seen the blog post. Therefore, he has constantly stayed alone in his apartment and refused to meet others. He also claims the defendant disregarded his pleas to remove the post.
Millogo asks the court to order the immediate removal of the blog. He is also seeking damages of $110,000 for the loss of job opportunities and the intentional affliction of emotion distress. He also requests a restraining order against the defendant.
According to the article at techdirt.com, the inclusion of Google in the suit is 'odd.'
