There are civil rights legal professionals, who look to make sure that all human beings are treated fairly, and there are labor legal professionals who want to make sure that people are treated fairly in the workforce. Take a look at medical malpractice lawyers, who will sue on the behalf of people who were treated poorly or with incompetence by the medical profession.
Take some time and make sure that you know where you stand when it comes to attorneys, especially if you are in a place where you need to think about what you can do to join the profession.
