Stacy D. Phillips is currently from California where she built her career and is the mother of 2 children of her own and 2 step children. Stacey completed her double major at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire where she graduated cum laude and with high distinction honors. She graduated with her J.D. in 1983 at Columbia University School of Law in New York which is given an ivy-league status.
Stacy Phillips began her career as a law clerk to Honorable Edward Rafeedie of the United States District Court. She then joined the law firm of Wyman, Bautzer, Rothman, Kuchel and Silbert as an associate where she practiced litigation and mediation of family law matters. Stacy Phillips left the firm in 1990 to start her own practice in California where she now lives and has her business.
This article will mention only a few important honors she has received as the list is so long. The most important thing to know about Stacy Phillips is she champions family law. She does it very well as she has received the following honors:

Let’s look at the side of Stacy Phillips which gives back to her community. She is a volunteer representing the abused and neglected child and provides pro bono legal services to families. She and her firm in a combined effort founded the ''Adopt-a-Center'' program. Her Law firm, along with others, selects one charity to offer hands-on involvement and fundraising support for a 12-month period. Phillips, Lerner, Lauzon & Jamra, L.L.P. has committed to this ground zero project for the past 10 years.
Currently Stacy Phillips has written a book Divorce: It’s All about Control - How to Win the Emotional, Psychological and Legal Wars, (November, 2005). She discusses in her book the issues of control in four different aspects of divorce.
