The Judge
Law firms are circling the corpse of Heller as well.
Harvard has joined Stanford and Yale in ditching grades in favor of a pass/fail system. This has generated lots of controversy so far. And not to be outdone in the controversy department, the University of Michigan Law School is being accused of playing games with the US News & World Report's law school rankings by letting some students skip the LSAT. On the brighter side from Michigan, having sex with a sheep doesn't make you a sex offender.
There is also lots of news from Louisiana, as the state filed its brief with the Supreme Court regarding the death penalty for child rape. Meanwhile, Tulane Law School and their law review have lots of egg on their face after apparently just making up some statistics to smear some Louisiana Supreme Court Justices.
A Kentucky law school has decided to join the bankruptcy party by filing for Chapter 11 itself, and Justice Alito recently skipped out on the Cert pool at the Supreme Court.
Finally, having monkeys, lemurs, alligators, and parrots in your hotel room so they trash the joint just might bring a lawsuit.
