The e-book lists information on clinical and externship programs, the size of the schools' public service staffs, loan repayment programs that are offered, and much more. This way, students looking to go into public service work can compare and contrast various law schools to see which one would be the right choice for their particular situation. However, the e-book does not rank the schools like U.S. News & World Report does. Instead, it simply provides information on the schools, much of which is information that is not included in the U.S. News & World Report ranking.
The e-book is geared toward students applying to law school, current law students, undergrad advisors, faculty, attorneys, and anyone else researching legal education. The organization is planning for the second addition of the e-book to be available in August of this year.
According to the press release, Equal Justice Works is currently "the national leader in creating summer and postgraduate public interest opportunities for law students and lawyers as well as in urging more public interest programming at law schools."
