E-discovery provider Casepoint announced on April 4 that it secured a new five-year contract with the U.S. Courts Defender Services Office. The agreement includes the provision of data ingestion, processing, hosting review, and analytics services to federal defenders operating under the Criminal Justice Act. Casepoint, which currently holds contracts with six different government agencies, such as the Department of Defense, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Department of Veterans Affairs, underwent a rebidding process that required new security and project management plans. Despite already having a prior relationship with the DSO, Casepoint successfully won the new contract.
