No, no, no! Not the Bar exam to become a lawyer! (Which I'm sure ALL of you were thinking ) I'm talking about bars that you eat! Over the past few weeks I've tried out several new types of bars for my afternoon snack at work, and I thought I'd share my thoughts on many of them with you!

First off, a new to me flavor of Larabar: Cappucinno!

This one actually really did taste like coffee, and it was the perfect bar for an afternoon when I felt like I wanted some coffee but 1) didn't want to go get some and 2) didn't want the extra caffeine that late in the day!

I also tried the cashew cookie flavor, which I also thought was good but maybe not my favorite. It was pretty basic and simple, and sometimes I'm in the mood for a little more flavor!

I also tried one of their new Uber bars. I realize these have been out for a while but I'm a little behind on this one.

I really liked it! One thing I don't like about Larabars is that usually I want a little crunch and they rarely have any! This was the perfect combo of the nutrition and simplicity of a Larabar, but with some added crunch!

Another bar I tried was the ProBar Fruition bar! It's actually about the same as a Larabar in that it doesn't have much crunch, and is more blended and made into a bar. They do have more ingredients than a Larabar, but they are all healthy looking to me!

I loved the peach flavor and they have a lot of other simple flavors that sound delicious and I'd love to try! A few are Lemon, Strawberry and Chocolate Orange!

Probar makes several other kinds of bars, but most of them seem to have either soy or wheat in them, so I can't try them but they sure look good!

Another new bar that I've tried is by Two Degrees, which are all vegan and gluten free. They have 4 flavors and I've sampled 3 of them! My FAVORITE was Chocolate Banana (un-pictured), but I also liked the Apple Pecan:

I also tried the Cherry Almond but was not a fan. There were puffs in it (maybe millet?) and they kind of took over the bar.

The great thing about Two Degrees is that for every bar you buy, they donate a meal to a hungry child! How cool is that? I love companies with a greater mission!

Last, but definitely not least, is KIND bars!

I've actually been eating KIND Bars since October, when I found out about my gluten and soy intolerance. I'm a HUGE fan and have tried several flavors! There are SO MANY flavors though I can't keep up with trying them all! I actually just checked out the website and saw several new ones that sound amazing!
