I saw the book on Peanut Butter Fingers and since I usually like Julie's recommendations I thought I'd give it a try, especially since I managed to get it free from the library. Well I didn't like it at all. I forced myself to finish thinking I'd like the ending, but nope. The book was written in an interesting way, going back and forth between a dinner at a fancy restaurant with two brothers and their wives, to events leading up to that dinner. However, I just didn't like the characters and for me that's a big part of the story. Next up I'm not sure what I'm going to read! Any good recommendations? I have a few books left from when Chelsey and I exchanged books (oh a year ago). So I might read one of those (haha, again, free!) until Christmas when I think I'll get a few from Santa. Watching: Pretty Little Liars. It's an illness. Seriously. If I have a free evening, come 5pm I am in my apartment binge watching PLL until it's time to go to bed. I watch it on Netflix on my Kindle so I can just have it near me when I'm making dinner, cleaning up, or working on my computer. I'm already on Season 3
Besides that, I'm forming a list of Christmas movies that I NEED to watch! How have I not watched any this year? My favorites are Elf, Home Alone, The Santa Clause and How The Grinch Stole Christmas. Anticipating: GOING HOME!!! I am so excited to head home for the holidays! Although, I'm not going to lie, I'm a liiiiitle nervous about the road trip home. I am a huge fan of road trips, but I'm used to driving a good bit, or at the very least sitting up front. It will be interesting to see how I handle 8 hours in the back seat with this one sitting on top of me: My BFFs from back in the day!
Working on: My job search Wishing: That I get a job? Hahahaha that was easy! I actually have one job that I applied to at the end of last week that I'm just DYING to get an interview for. Would it be considered stalking if I just sit outside their building?.. Hmmm. Sipping on: fancy coffee drinks! I used to only order coffee with a splash of milk added, but since doing Jamie's Intuitive Eating Challenge, I've loosed up quite a bit and order more fun coffee drinks when I'm in the mood. Has anyone tried Starbucks's Gingerbread Latte? Heaven. Seriously.
