Founder and president Greg Wagner has been involved in the recruiting business since 1976 and believes that interviewing is only one step in the larger process of locating the appropriate job candidate for a given position. Beyond professional experience, Wagner also bases placement selections on candidate and client expectations, goals, personalities, and even technical skill. He works closely with his firm's managing partner and the hiring committee to locate candidates and then maintains open lines of communication with all parties throughout the screening and hiring process. All candidates are personally interviewed and thoroughly screened prior to referral.

While working primarily with clients in the Seattle area, Wagner also works with firms and corporations throughout the US. Additionally, he has provided law firm clients with highly qualified executive directors, administrators, branch office managers, human resources managers, and accounting and information technology candidates.

Erin O'Farrell, the firm's vice president, has been involved in the recruiting industry for more than 20 years. Her primary duties include office management duties, locating potential job candidates, and directing the resume and reference screening process.

As a result of the firm's dedication to each job candidate, many refer to the team as career counselors rather than employment recruiters. The firm takes the time to learn about individual strengths and weaknesses as well as likes as dislikes, which is why the firm holds such an impressive record of both representing and placing candidates looking for legal employment in the Pacific Northwest.

Wagner and Pacific Law Recruiters support and work with the Puget Sound Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (PSALA). Wagner's “In Search of a Law Firm Administrator” article can be found in the April 2007 edition of the association's bimonthly publication, Soundings. The article has been added to the national library for the Association of Legal Administrators.
