Arnold & Porter And Howard Rice To Merge On January 1, 2011
A merger between Howard Rice Nemerovski Canady Falk & Rabkin and Washington, D.C.-based Arnold & Porter was announced Tuesday. The merger will be completed by Jan. 1. The merger will have about 800 attorneys in the United States and Europe which will focus on litigation and regulatory work in a cross section of areas. This includes banking, antitrust, health care, transactional matters, as well as environmental and intellectual property. In California, the firm will have about 160 attorneys spread across San Francisco, Palo Alto, and Los Angeles offices.
