Prior to taking on employment with drugstore.com, Morikubo spent about six months with the Advanced Digital Information Corporation as its vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary. The Advanced Digital Information Corporation, which was acquired by the Quantum Corporation in 2006, is a provider of intelligent data storage hardware and software solutions.
He also held the position of chief counsel in the international division of AT&T Wireless Services, Inc. from 1996 to 1999 and also from 2000 until 2005.
In the past, Morikubo practiced law with Perkins Coie LLP in Seattle, Washington. Additionally, he worked in Honolulu, Hawaii for KPMG as an auditor and tax accountant.
