New Howrey Trustee, Allan Diamond, Believes Liquidation Will Become Debatable
Diamond McCarthy, Texas-based law firm, filed a chapter 11 lawsuit in June this year. Allan Diamond, the managing partner of the firm has had a full caseload of his own firm after becoming the government-appointed Chapter 11 trustee of defunct law firm Howrey on October 7. After being appointed the trustee, Diamond is loaded with lot of work on simple housekeeping tasks. Diamond McCarthy focuses on bankruptcy, litigation and real estate work. After finishing his administrative duties, Diamond will focus on recovering money for the estate. According to Diamond, the bankruptcy will get litigious and cases will be brought against former clients that won't pay their bills.
