NewOak Capital was founded in 2008 by Ron D'Vari and Jimmy Frischling. The company is an advisory, asset management and capital market firm and specializes in residential and commercial mortgages, corporate credit, and asset-backed securities. The goal of the company is to assist its clients in realizing and reaching their financial objectives.

Gould has worked in financial law for 12 years, dealing in cases specifically concerning how mortgage loan transactions are structured and closed, and dealing in business acquisitions. She has also worked extensively with the acquisition, disposition, restructuring, workout and foreclosure of loans. Her experience also comes from her work with financial institutions and other transaction participants in construction, permanent, acquisition and bridge financings, mezzanine loans, equity funding, syndicated facilities and other structured finance transactions, including project finance matters. Gould also worked as an attorney at Eckert Seamans in Boston, Massachusetts. There, her clients were largely financial and included banks, investors, hedge funds and investment banking institutions.
