When you are a virtual lawyer, you are going to be handling your cases, at least the majority of them, over the Internet and email. There are a couple of ways of being a virtual lawyer, and you will be able to do many of them at the same time. First of all, you can be a regular lawyer that works with cases in any area that you would like to work—but you can do it virtually. This means that you will meet with the clients, get the information, and set up the cases through the Internet. If you don't need to go to court for anything, that means that all of your work can be done online. However, if the case ends up going to court, you will have to actually show up in court, because you cannot go to court virtually.

Another way of being a virtual lawyer is to give out legal advice and do lawyerly tasks that don't include court over the Internet. You can do this by setting up a website where you take questions, give answers, and give advice, as well as do other things for people online. You will be paid for these services, and you can do them from the privacy of your own home.

In order to be either version of a virtual lawyer, or a combination of them, the first thing that you are going to have to do is to actually be a lawyer. This means that you are going to have to have gone to law school and have passed your law school exams. You are going to need to have passed the bar exam in the state in which you are going to be operating. Even if you are online, you need to have a home state in which you have passed the bar so that you can be familiar with the laws of that state and so that you can dispense your knowledge as a lawyer would do.

After you have gone to law school and have passed the bar exam, there are going to be a few things that you are going to need to do if you want to be a virtual lawyer. The first thing is that you are going to have to have a good idea of the way that the Internet works, and you are going to need to have a great website where you can do your work. This is very important, as it can really help you get off to a good start. You might want to hire someone to work on your site, because websites can be tough to put together and you will need yours to function well for you. However, after you have worked with the site for awhile, you will probably find that you are going to have a lot to do with the site, and that it is going to be important that it works well.

After you have a website, a domain name that works, and a way to access it, you can begin to be a virtual lawyer. You will need to have a payment system that can be easily done online such as Paypal or another type of payment system. Also, you will need to have a list of the services that you provide, such as giving legal advice, reading through contracts, or doing other things that a lawyer would do. Charge prices for each of your services, and get down to work!
