The two Gwinnett County girls, clad in designer shades they dubbed their "stunner shades," walked into a Bank of America and proceeded to steal nearly $11,000. By their laughter, the girls didn't appear worried they'd be caught. Johnston said, "We had an inside man." (Which explains why they didn't realize their heist might frighten other bank tellers and customers.)
The two teenage girls, who met at the strip club where they worked, have been charged with felony theft and drug possession. Johnston, 19 and a graduate of Collins Hill High School, was on her way to becoming a dental hygienist. However, after beginning work at an exotic dance club, Johnston was soon on the wrong path.
"It just goes to show you how quick a kid can be swayed from on-track to dead-end," said Johnston's uncle about his niece.
Miller, 18, who had "a big heart and volunteered at a nursing home," also fell in with the wrong crowd, said her mother in an article on www.msnbc.msn.com. Miller began dating Michael Chastang, who helped the girls devise the robbery plan. Along with the girls, Chastang was arrested a few days after the heist.
