<<The school, which is the largest in Westchester County, is celebrating its 60th anniversary of providing academic excellence. There are more than 50 associate degrees and certificate programs offered at Westchester Community College in 36 subject areas. Additionally, there are certificate programs generally requiring between 15 to 33 credits offered in 20 career fields.

Westchester main campus is located in Valhalla with extension campuses in New Rochelle, Mount Vernon, Yonkers, Shrub Oak, Mahopac, Ossining, Tuckahoe, and Port Chester. Art workshops are offered on campuses in Peekskill and White Plains.

The paralegal studies program at Westchester Community College is approved by The American Bar Association and offers comprehensive, intensive, and hands-on training for students seeking careers as paralegals and/or legal assistants. Introduction to Paralegal Studies, Litigation, Legal Research and Writing, Computer Applications for the Law Office, and Paralegal Internship are the five mandatory core classes. In addition to these, paralegal students will select five other electives within the program to complete their legal assistant education.
