In order to retain loyal, hardworking talent, you need to be more respectful of flexible hours.
As a college graduate, working as a Legal Assistant, I was exposed to a lot of interesting assignments. Once you prove to the Associates and Partners that you're reliable and get your work done on time, they tend to give you more responsibility.
Like most Big Law Firms, the hours are long. Additionally, it is expected that you will work long hours and often this assumption is taken for granted. As a young person, I had the time to commit to working, but now that I have a family, working long hours is not plausible.
Training programs were very interesting and Associated, Partners, and Legal Assistants were invited and encouraged to attend.

Find a balance with work and life. There is a lot of responsibilities expected from you when you work at this firm, while it can feel rewarding, it becomes very exhausting.
A great firm that challenges its employees to be the best version of themselves. The firm and the staff here are great to work with. This firm goes above expectations with providing accommodating workspaces and a tough atmosphere that feels rewarding. It was a pleasure working with firm.
Hours here are long and tedious. With so much work expected from you, at times it can become difficult to balance life and work duties.
Partners should give more training to associates. Bring in more top talent to the firm.
This is a great opportunity for newcomers to gain experience. There is a great work and life balance. The environment is innovative and creative.
There is not much room for growth. The hours were long at times. Organization and communication needs improvement.
Make sure this type of work environment suits you. You may not be the type to thrive under the "win at all costs" workplace approach. It's wise to ensure you are the type who can thrive here.
Outstanding firm with a culture geared toward success.
Sometimes the high-octane "win at all costs" mentality can take a toll, especially if you're not used to that environment as an associate. It can be exhausting putting in so much work week after week, month after month. You will have to be self-motivated to succeed here.
Thank you.
