Advice to law firm management: I would like to see management really get on top of things and make sure that everyone is on the same page and I would like to get some of the rude attorney's get lectured or replaced.

Pros: I received a lot of help here while I was an intern and I greatly enjoyed my interactions with most of the attorneys here. There was always plenty of work to go around as well.

Cons: Unfortunately, there is a real lack of leadership at this firm. At times it can feel like a real free for all. I always felt as though some of the attorneys were really standoffish.

Advice to law firm management: Provide more training for management. Allow more flexibility for the staff.

Pros: They are a large global law firm. The atmosphere is innovative and professional. Staff is friendly and supportive. I really enjoy working here.

Cons: There is not a good work/life balance at the firm. Management doesn't always run things well.

In general, it recruits only from the top one-third of the graduating class from select law schools. Hence, every attorney at the firm is encouraged to spend a considerable amount of time doing pro bono work.
