Job Title: Employee Benefits Associate
Job Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively within the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation team to design, develop, and implement benefits and compensation programs for clients.
- Advise clients on equity and performance-based compensation arrangements.
- Provide guidance on fiduciary responsibility, prohibited transaction, and funding rules under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
- Engage in both advisory work and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions related to executive compensation.
- Contribute to a top-ranked practice recognized by industry publications such as Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500 US.
Education and Experience Information:
- Candidates must possess 3-5 years of experience in executive compensation and ERISA.
- Experience in all aspects of executive compensation/ERISA is required, including familiarity with ERISA's fiduciary rules.
- Previous experience in a large law firm is strongly preferred.
Salary Information:
- The salary for this position is $260,000 or more, commensurate with class year and experience.
