Key Responsibilities:
Support the business development team with client and prospective client requests, event logistics coordination and departmental system maintenance
Compile client and prospective client requested information and draft responses for requests for proposals (RFP’s) and pitches, track results and prepare summary reports
Compile business and industry research in support of new business opportunities
Track client information in the client relationship management (CRM) system
Collect and coordinate matter tracking information in the firm’s central matter tracking system
Assist with event management and logistics, including supporting speaker outreach and coordination, program management, reporting and various logistics
Coordinate webinars, including coordinating with the marketing team to prepare invitation, compiling invite list in CRM system, securing CLE credit, liaising with lawyers on materials, and handling logistics for execution of the webinar
Gather information and details for legal directory submissions
Create and update business development collateral, including brochures, one-pagers and presentations
Draft entries for legal awards and nominations
Prepare lists for targeting from our internal CRM and other external platforms for various events and initiatives
Assist with various administrative and project management tasks
Develop strong working relationships with practice attorneys and other members of the BD team
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field
At least two (2) years of experience in a similar role
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
Familiarity with client relationship management (CRM) software
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
