Job Title: Employment Counsel

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and cost-effective advice on various employment laws including Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and USERRA.
- Manage administrative charges and demand letters from agencies such as EEOC, DOL, and state agencies by conducting investigations, interviewing witnesses, drafting position statements, and negotiating settlements.
- Lead employment-law due diligence and post-close integration in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, focusing on identifying and mitigating workforce-related risks.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert in employment law for federal and state litigation and government inquiries.
- Design and deliver training programs on crucial employment topics such as harassment prevention, wage-and-hour compliance, and leave management.
- Monitor and identify emerging issues in federal and state employment law, translating these into clear guidance, and proactively advising the business.
- Collaborate with Compensation & Benefits Counsel on ERISA-governed plans, executive compensation issues, and severance programs.

Education and Experience Information:
- Juris Doctor (. or .) is required, along with active bar admission in at least one . jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing as a licensed attorney.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal analysis clearly and persuasively.
- Proven client-service orientation and ability to cultivate strong internal relationships.
- Demonstrated capacity to handle multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing legal documents.
- Advanced legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify, interpret, and resolve novel or complex issues.
- For specialized practice groups, in-depth expertise in the relevant area of law, particularly employment law.

Salary Information:
- Minimum Salary: USD $147, per year.
- Maximum Salary: USD $313, per year.
- Typical Starting Salary: Between $176,000 and $278,000 annually.
- Flexible Time Off Annual Accrual: 20 days.
