Job Title: Senior Analyst – Practice Management

Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Healthcare Practice Analyst at the law firm will be primarily responsible for supporting the development and implementation of business, operational, and strategic initiatives for the Healthcare Team. The role involves a variety of functions across practice management, knowledge management, innovation, technology, marketing, business development, staffing, recruiting, professional development, and lateral onboarding and integration.

Practice Management:
- Assist in gathering and synthesizing input from various departments and sub-sector groups to support the development of the team’s annual business plan.
- Support the preparation of insightful financial reports by collecting and analyzing data to help identify trends.
- Help organize practice team meetings, including managing agendas and coordinating with speakers.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for the broader 230+ member Healthcare Team, providing support with staffing, workflow, budgets, and project management for large matters on an ad hoc basis.

Knowledge Management, Innovation, and Technology:
- Aid in identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements by supporting collaborations with the Knowledge Management, Innovation, and IT teams.
- Assist in conducting research on market trends and industry developments to support strategic planning.
- Track and document data using project management tools to support team initiatives.

Marketing & Business Development:
- Provide support for RFPs and pitches by assisting with staffing and financial reporting/pricing in collaboration with the Marketing/Business Development and Pricing Teams.
- Assist the Marketing/Business Development team on various Healthcare marketing initiatives.

Staffing and Recruiting:
- Prepare utilization reports and help monitor associate workloads using technology tools.
- Support the identification of recruiting priorities by collaborating with stakeholders.
- Facilitate introductions to leverage expertise pairings and potential for assignments.

Professional Development:
- Coordinate with team leads to assist in organizing internal CLE programs.
- Support Talent Management by helping with the review of mentor/mentee assignments.

Lateral Onboarding and Integration:
- Assist in implementing onboarding and integration plans for new attorneys.
- Coordinate meetings to discuss firm resources, relevant clients, and group structure.

Education and Experience Information:

Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of law firm experience in a practice management, data analytics, or LPM role.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills; the ability to project a polished, professional image, and communicate comfortably and confidently with all levels of personnel.
- Excellent organization skills and astute attention to detail.
- Proficiency with data management and project management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment.
- Robust oral and written communication capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree.
- Major: Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics.

License and Certification:
- Preferred: Project management or legal industry certifications.

Computer/Software Knowledge:
- Required: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and the ability to quickly learn and utilize additional software such as Foundation, Iridium, Aderant, SQL, NetDocs, InTapp, etc.

Salary Information:
The salary for the Senior Healthcare Practice Analyst position varies by location:
- California: $110,000 to $140,000 per year.
- New York: $110,000 to $140,000 per year.
- Washington .: $110,000 to $140,000 per year; includes medical, vision, and dental coverage for dependents and domestic partners.
- Illinois: $110,000 to $140,000 per year; eligible for bonuses and medical, vision, and dental insurance.
