Job Responsibilities
The Senior E-Billing Coordinator plays a crucial role in the law firm's Global Finance team, tasked with the following responsibilities:
- Submission of electronic invoices to clients on a monthly basis.
- Overseeing the transition of clients to e-billing systems.
- Providing follow-up support to attorneys, practice office staff, and clients related to electronic billing.
- Handling a high volume of complex e-submission assignments for key corporate clients.
- Ensuring adherence to client guidelines, internal protocols, and firm guidelines during the submission process.
- Acting as a liaison between billing attorneys/secretaries, practice office billing staff, and clients' staff assigned to electronic billing, offering expert-level support.
- Collaborating with billing attorneys/secretaries, practice office accounting staff, and client representatives to resubmit invoices and ensure corrective actions for future submissions.
- Managing data for assigned clients in the 3E system and clients' external web applications, ensuring all relevant information is updated and aligned with the firm's 3E system.
- Performing technical and logistical tasks with internal staff, vendor staff, and clients' designated personnel during the transition to electronic billing.
- Collaborating with the department's supervisor to support e-billing systems by managing user accounts, resetting passwords, assigning security levels, and entering budgets, status reports, and matter profiles in various sub-systems.
- Protecting and maintaining sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and proprietary information retained by the law firm.
Education and Experience Information
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of two years of experience with the 3E Billing system.
- A minimum of two years of experience with e-billing vendors.
- A minimum of five years of experience in general accounting practices.
- A minimum of four years of experience in billing processes and practices.
- Knowledge of 3E’s E-Invoicing module is preferred.
Salary Information
The salary for the Senior E-Billing Coordinator position ranges from USD $90, to USD $105, per year.
