Job Title: Case Manager

Job Responsibilities:
The Case Manager at the law firm is responsible for a variety of tasks to support the legal team, particularly in the management of personal injury cases. Key responsibilities include:

- Engaging in daily interactions with existing and potential clients both over the phone and in person.
- Ordering medical records from providers and maintaining communication with clients and providers throughout the treatment process.

- Interacting with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances.

- Maintaining organized case files.
- Preparing comprehensive demands and assembling support for submission to carriers.
- Interacting with attorneys and presenting case synopses when required.
- Managing case files from intake to closing under the direction of an attorney.
- Performing other related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business.

Education and Experience Information:
The ideal candidate for the Case Manager position should possess the following qualifications and experience:

- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is preferred.
- Strong negotiating skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player and follow procedures.
- Proactive in interactions with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision.
- Highly organized with the capability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong writing and communication skills, along with attention to detail.
- Extensive computer and database expertise, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and typing speed of no less than 35 words per minute.
