**Job Title: Talent Acquisition Coordinator**
**Job Responsibilities:**
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator at the law firm reports to the Manager of Talent Acquisition and plays a crucial role in supporting the recruiting team. The responsibilities include a broad range of tasks related to recruiting, project management, evaluation and analysis, communications, and administrative duties. Key responsibilities involve:
- Recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding, which includes:
- Educating around the firm's hiring best practices.
- Assisting with job postings, offer preparation, and initiating and monitoring background checks.
- Tracking new hire data and managing onboarding activities.
- Ensuring hiring managers and new joiners receive appropriate communications to ensure seamless integration.
- Presenting the firm's overview deck to new hires.
- Maintaining the firm’s agency database and ensuring agreements are valid and up to date.
- Facilitating the firm’s program-paralegal hiring, managing job postings, ATS data, offer letters, and onboarding.
- Serving as backup to HR Coordinators for the employee exit process, offboarding communications, and exit interviews.
- Program Management, including:
- Assisting with the planning, coordination, implementation, and maintenance of the firm intern/co-op program.
- Partnering with university contacts to facilitate job postings, review student applications, manage interview coordination, and offer processing.
- Maintaining intern/co-op new hire trackers, onboarding tasks, and communications to managers and incoming students.
- In partnership with the Manager of Talent Acquisition, developing enrichment program calendars, scheduling student programming sessions, confirming speakers, booking conference rooms/Zoom links, and maintaining appropriate project plans.
- Project managing firm-sponsored recruiting events such as job fairs and on-site career days.
**Education and Experience Information:**
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- One to three years of hands-on work experience in a human resources position, preferably in a professional services environment.
- A minimum of one year of recruiting or HR experience is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects through full lifecycle while meeting deadlines and stakeholder expectations, and delivering innovative solutions.
- Ability to analyze information, assess issues, and make clear and relevant recommendations.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a close team environment.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, listen, collaborate, and influence others.
- A service-oriented approach is necessary, with flexible, proactive management of expectations and the ability to remain unflappable in the face of change.
- Strong organization and project management experience, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and produce quality deliverables on time.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is required; experience with applicant tracking systems (iCIMS) is a plus.
**Salary Information:**
The anticipated pay range for the Talent Acquisition Coordinator role at the law firm is between $63,700 and $92,350. This range represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the starting salary at the time of posting. The position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. The actual offered rate will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
**Working Conditions:**
The position requires a hybrid on-site presence as an essential function of the role. Consistent and predictable on-site presence is necessary for ongoing business continuity, professional development, and effective collaboration with colleagues and management. This is a non-exempt position, and the incumbent is expected to work the hours necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, including possible overtime as needed.
