Job Title: Case Manager

Job Responsibilities:
The Case Manager plays a crucial role in supporting attorneys and clients within the law firm. Key responsibilities include:

- Engaging daily with existing and potential clients through telephone and in-person interactions.
- Ordering medical records from healthcare providers and maintaining communication with both clients and providers throughout the treatment process.
- Obtaining necessary documentation to support injury and/or liability claims.
- Interacting with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances.
- Negotiating case settlements with insurance carriers and working to reduce outstanding medical balances with providers.
- Collaborating directly with multiple coworkers involved in the management and support of case files.
- Maintaining organized case files and preparing comprehensive demands and support documentation for submission to carriers.
- Interacting with attorneys and presenting case synopses when required.
- Managing case files from intake to closing under the direction of an attorney.
- Performing additional related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager is preferred.
- At least two years of experience working in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is preferred.
- The position requires strong negotiating skills.
- Candidates must demonstrate the ability to be a team player and follow procedures.
- Proactive interaction with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers is essential.
- Candidates must possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision.
- The role requires a highly organized individual with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong writing and communication skills, along with attention to detail, are necessary.
- Extensive computer and database expertise, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and typing at a rate of no less than 35 words per minute, is required.
