IT Project Coordinator - Morgan & Morgan (Orlando, FL)
Summary:
Morgan & Morgan, the largest injury law firm in the world, is seeking an experienced IT Project Coordinator to join their IT Programs & Strategy team. This role will support independent projects with significant scope and visibility, working closely with project managers, stakeholders, and technical teams. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in project coordination, familiarity with project management methods, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project tools. This is an in-office position located in Orlando, FL.
Responsibilities:
- Apply project management methodologies and tools to coordinate and monitor IT project activities, schedules, resources, and deliverables.
- Assist project managers in developing project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Facilitate communication among project stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, priorities, and timelines.
- Track project progress and prepare regular status reports for leadership and stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and escalate project risks and issues and support resolution efforts.
- Organize and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in IT.
- Familiarity with project management methods such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project tools.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to bring structure to chaos.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Comfortable working with both technical and business teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience supporting IT initiatives or enterprise programs.
- Interest in certifications like CAPM, PMP, or Agile.
- Understanding of IT delivery or business process workflows.
