Job Title: Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
- Elevate code quality by championing test-driven development, maintaining code hygiene, and promoting clean architecture within the team.
- Lead agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and incremental delivery with an emphasis on iteration and delivering value.
- Design and implement scalable and robust systems across backend (Python/FastAPI), frontend (React), and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
- Set and uphold high standards for code quality, testing, performance, and maintainability.
- Drive technical alignment through leading code reviews, design reviews, and engineering discussions that result in thoughtful, well-documented decisions.
- Champion documentation by authoring and reviewing technical design documents to guide team implementation and maintain long-term clarity.
- Build systems with resilience by designing with fault tolerance, observability, and graceful degradation in mind, and guiding the team in applying principles of reliability and operational excellence.
- Lead incident response and learning by participating in and improving incident response processes, driving actionable postmortems, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on roadmap priorities and delivery timelines.

Education and Experience Information:
- Experience with full-stack or front-end development, particularly with React, is considered a strong asset.

Salary Information:
- The anticipated full-time annualized salary range is $120,000 - $200,000 USD. The actual salary will be contingent upon various factors, including relevant experience, market data, job location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
