Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned practices, building and maintaining trusted relationships with practice group leaders and key stakeholders
- Develop and execute strategic marketing and business development plans in collaboration with practice group leaders and the Director of Marketing and Business Development
- Proactively identify opportunities for external promotion and client development within assigned practices and work with MBD team to execute on opportunities
- Manage the annual marketing and business development budget for assigned practices and track ROI
- Collaborate with the events team and attorneys to develop client events and programming
- Support firm-wide business development programs, such as client feedback and lateral partner integration, as needed
- Contribute to department-wide initiatives to improve overall marketing and business development functions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience in marketing or business development
- Experience in a large legal, financial, or professional services firm preferred
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Ability to think creatively and strategically approach business development
- Understanding of the firm's goals, services, culture, and strategy

As a Senior Marketing and Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in managing the relationship between assigned practices and our Marketing and Business Development Department. We are seeking motivated, proactive individuals with strong communication and project management skills to join our team in either Chicago, New York, or Washington .
As a Senior Marketing and Business Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to work alongside other Marketing and Business Development Managers and Professionals to support a variety of MBD activities for our core practice areas, including corporate, financial markets and funds, insolvency and restructuring, intellectual property, litigation, real estate, structured finance and securitization, transactional tax planning, private credit, and private wealth.
In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned practices and collaborate with the MBD team to ensure high-quality work product and a seamless service experience for our attorneys. You will also develop and execute strategic marketing and business development plans, proactively identify opportunities for external promotion and client development, and support firm-wide business development programs. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to department-wide initiatives to improve overall marketing and business development functions.
We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field and 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a large legal, financial, or professional services firm. Strong project management and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to think creatively and strategically approach business development. Candidates should also have a strong understanding of the firm's goals, services, culture, and strategy in order to represent the firm in a positive and professional manner.
