Digital Marketing Coordinator
Job Responsibilities
The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting various digital marketing and communication activities within the law firm. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in managing the firm’s website by making routine text edits to biographies and practice descriptions, creating new content pages, monitoring expired content, and tracking client permissions for website matter descriptions.
- Updating lawyer biographies on the firm's website by managing content updates, formatting, and tracking progress.
- Coordinating the client alert formatting, risk review, and distribution process.
- Assisting in the management of analytics and reporting for the website, alerts, social media, and podcasts. Providing input and analysis to key stakeholders as necessary.
- Optimizing websites and blogs using SEO tools to ensure content is up-to-date and relevant.
- Managing digital marketing projects and tasks using a project management tracking system.
- Cleaning code and organizing information with concise metatag hierarchy.
- Producing firm content using new media channels, including podcasts and videos, involving recording, editing, publishing, and promoting.
- Supporting firm blogs, podcasts, apps, and microsites.
- Writing requirement documents for new features, bugs, or back-end changes for vendor implementation.
- Monitoring website performance to find and correct errors in content, broken links, or other maintenance needs.
- Writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for internal use of technology platforms and training others as needed.
Education and Experience Information
Education
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree. Equivalent training and experience may be considered as a substitute for formal education.
Experience
Candidates must have a minimum of four (4) years of directly related experience, during which relevant knowledge, skills, and abilities were acquired. Prior experience in a law firm is desirable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong proficiency with HTML, social media platforms, email campaign platforms, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite is required. Experience with RubyLaw is a plus.
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work in a dynamic and complex environment to meet deadlines and daily requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, with attorneys, staff, and vendors.
- Ability to quickly learn and utilize technology tools and resources.
- Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot to find helpful solutions to incoming requests.
Salary Information
The law firm offers a competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package. The salary range for this position is $57,000-$79,000. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus. Benefits include healthcare, vision, dental, retirement, and all-purpose leave. The salary for this position may vary based on location, market data, an applicant’s skills and prior experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other factors.
