Law Firm Seeking Non-Partnership Track Senior Employment Attorney
Education and Experience:
- JD degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in New Jersey and/or New York
- Minimum 8 years of experience in labor and employment law
- Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws
- Experience in litigation, advice and counsel, and transactional work
- Experience in defending class and collective actions
Responsibilities:
- Manage litigation and legal research for class action and single plaintiff cases
- Handle employment law advice and counsel matters
- Draft and negotiate employment, termination/severance, and related agreements
- Conduct employment due diligence and advise on employment aspects of corporate transactions
- Provide advice on restrictive covenants, employee mobility, compensation practices, and employee policies/training
- Handle leave of absence/accommodations (FMLA, ADA) issues
