Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, a top global law firm, is seeking two experienced Litigation Paralegals to join our national team of attorneys and paralegals. This is an exciting opportunity for detail-oriented, motivated individuals who are looking to work in a collaborative and rewarding environment.
Location: Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, or Washington (flexible hybrid in-office/remote working arrangement)
Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of asbestos case management, including the discovery process, tracking and communicating case-related dates and deadlines, and trial preparation.
• Maintain databases and organize documents, reports, and correspondence.
• Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals on team projects and work independently on assigned tasks.
• Adapt to changing priorities and strict deadlines.
• Demonstrate excellent client service and effective communication with clients and colleagues at all levels.
• Willing to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Prior experience as a paralegal in a litigation environment, including claim intake and case management, preferred.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from a 4-year accredited college or university.
• Motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks with conflicting deadlines.
• Strong team player and able to work independently.
• Flexible and able to work under strict deadlines.
• Self-motivated with good time-management and teamwork skills.
Salary Information:
Salary range varies based on location and experience:
• Los Angeles, CA: $64, - $103,
• Chicago, IL: $59, - $94,
• Washington, .: $62, - $99,
• New York, NY: $67, - $107,
The final salary or hourly wage offered will be determined during the interview process and may vary based on factors such as experience, expertise, and market conditions. The total compensation package may also include benefits such as medical, financial, and paid time off. Participation in these benefits will be discussed with candidates who receive an offer of employment.
