Job Title: Reporting Intelligence Manager - (Flexible Schedule)

Job Responsibilities:

- Design and implement scalable self-service and automated reporting systems to meet growing demand, ensuring timely, high-impact delivery of insights.
- Re-engineer reporting workflows and develop standardized templates to increase efficiency and consistency.
- Audit, manage, and maintain the library of internal reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Create and uphold reporting standards, guidelines, and best practices, influencing analytics efforts firmwide.
- Take a proactive, consultative role in refining reporting outputs to ensure stakeholders receive strategically aligned insights.
- Manage the queue of reporting and data requests, refining requests and ensuring delivery aligned with user sophistication.
- Partner with internal business units to uncover emerging analytics needs and contribute reporting insights.
- Foster strong alliances within Client Intelligence and across the firm to support shared ownership of reporting priorities.
- Support ad hoc reporting and data analysis projects, helping users across departments answer data-related questions.
- Build and maintain deep expertise in the firm’s data ecosystem, including CRM, data warehouse, billing systems, and other key data sources.
- Stay current on business intelligence and data manipulation tools to ensure accurate, scalable analysis.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate data sources and analysis methods to ensure reliability and quality.
- Document and maintain definitions of metrics and terminology used in reporting deliverables.
- Develop and implement training programs for analysts, emphasizing efficient use of data sources and tools.
- Mentor and coach information and data analysts to support skill-building and reporting excellence.
- Develop an understanding of key clients, their businesses, and the firm’s lawyer/client relationships to inform reporting context.
- Identify recurring data needs and build tools and processes to streamline response and drive strategic alignment.
- Develop and maintain a consistent internal brand for reporting deliverables.
- Perform other duties as assigned, noting that job duties and responsibilities included are not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary.

Education and Experience Information:

Education:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Communication, Marketing, or a related discipline is required.
- A Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Equivalent experience in lieu of a degree will also be considered.

Experience:
- Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis and visualization, with at least 3 years of experience managing teams.
- Demonstrated experience managing a high volume of reporting and analytics requests from cross-functional stakeholders.
- Desired: Experience working in consulting, legal, or other professional environments that require continuous learning and the ability to communicate complex issues to business stakeholders.
- Proven success in working with global, virtual teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead reporting efforts and scale processes in high-volume, fast-paced environments.

Technical Proficiency:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Database querying using SQL
- Skilled in data visualization tools, with a preference for Tableau
- Data analysis tools, including Excel

Familiarity with Best Practices and Tools:
- Data visualization best practices
- Project management tools
- Data warehouses (Snowflake preferred)
- Wireframing
- UI / UX best practices
- UAT Processes

Supervisory Responsibilities: Strategic Data Insights Senior Analyst(s), Information Analyst(s)

Equipment To Be Used: Personal computer and other office equipment such as telephone, calculator, fax machine, copier, scanner, etc.

Working Conditions:
- Required to work in the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
- Occasionally called upon to work hours in excess of the normal daily schedule.

Salary Information:
- Pittsburgh, Miami, Richmond, Denver, Atlanta, Texas Offices: $136,000 - $154,000
- Chicago, Philadelphia, Wilmington: $145,000 - $165,000
- Tysons, Princeton, .: $155,000 - $176,000
