Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement labor relations strategies
- Serve as primary liaison between company and union
- Ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements and labor laws
- Represent company in negotiations and dispute resolution
- Provide guidance and training on labor relations and compliance
- Conduct internal investigations and provide guidance on employee relations
- Monitor labor law trends and propose policy updates
- Assist in drafting employment contracts and agreements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (JD preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years experience in labor relations
- Previous in-house counsel or unionized workforce experience
- Familiarity with employment litigation and administrative proceedings
- Proven track record in developing and executing labor relations strategies
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements
- Strong communication, advocacy, and organizational skills
- Ability to navigate complex issues in a collaborative and calm manner
