Job Title: Labor and Employment Attorney

Job Responsibilities:
- Actively manage litigation matters and oversee litigation strategy, with a focus on employment and related business disputes.
- Advise business clients on potential litigation risks, strategies, and damages related to employment discrimination laws, employee benefits disputes, contracts, torts, non-compete/non-solicitation, and other legal and equitable remedies.
- Direct and oversee court filings and attend appearances in proceedings.
- Support and supervise outside counsel as necessary.
- Provide advice on the implications of new or existing employment laws that substantially impact the company.
- Offer legal analysis and counsel on employment matters, including issues involving Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, ERISA, and FLSA.
- Advise clients on conducting employment-related investigations and support investigations of discrimination charges filed with the EEOC.
- Prepare position statements on behalf of the company.
- Prepare and review presentations and other documents related to the aforementioned matters.

Education and Experience Information:
- Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
- Strong academic performance in college and law school, with a preference for candidates in the top third of their class.
- Licensed to practice law in at least one state, with a strong preference for Texas Bar membership.
- Minimum of five years of legal experience, predominantly in labor and employment law within a law firm, corporation, agency, or court/judicial clerkship.
- Minimum of three years of experience litigating labor and employment matters is strongly preferred.
