Job Title: Practice Group Marketing Specialist (Sponsorships)
Job Responsibilities:
The Practice Group Marketing Specialist (Sponsorships) is tasked with supporting business development and marketing activities within the Business (Corporate) Department. The primary objective of this role is to drive revenue and enhance the law firm's brand through business opportunities and client expansion programs. The specialist will work in conjunction with the Practice Group Manager, Director of Marketing–Business Department, and other team members to develop and support marketing and business development plans. Responsibilities include:
- Leading programs, events, and sponsorships to drive revenue and promote the law firm's brand.
- Guiding marketing strategies and serving as a liaison between the practice group and other marketing functions.
- Coordinating and leveraging practice group marketing activities with adjacent business development efforts.
- Creating pitch decks and tracking ROI.
- Collaborating with marketing managers and partners to formulate and implement policies for business development initiatives.
- Conducting business research and relationship searches.
- Coordinating business development training sessions and cross-selling pods.
- Serving as a point of contact for business development support for attorneys in the practice group.
- Providing input on marketing programs and budget spend related to the business department.
- Identifying, supporting, and managing networking, speaking, conference, and event sponsorship opportunities.
- Collaborating with communications and creative services teams for internal and external communications projects.
- Working with marketing team members to execute events, client receptions, and alumni programs.
- Facilitating sponsorship execution and maximizing ROI on involvement.
- Championing firm branding and related standards on creative services projects.
- Coordinating promotional items for marketing events.
- Serving as a subject matter expert in the relevant industry and service lines.
- Developing and maintaining marketing materials and collateral.
- Leading deal tracking and reporting efforts for the practice.
- Supporting lateral attorney orientation and onboarding.
- Role modeling the use of CRM tools in managing sponsorships and events.
- Curating quarterly newsletters and deal sheets.
- Serving as a resource on the budget and tracking key deadlines for commitments.
- Creating metrics reporting for Marketing Department leadership.
Education and Experience Information:
Required:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, iManage, and other firm applications after orientation.
- Proficiency in firm marketing systems software following training.
- Availability to work overtime as required.
- 3+ years of direct applicable experience in a marketing-related field.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, marketing, or a related field.
- Business development or sales experience.
- Experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Project management experience and experience in creating and monitoring sales and business plans.

Salary Information:
The expected hourly pay range for this position, with a work schedule of 40 hours per week, is - , translating to an annual salary of $87,360 - $117,520. The final offer amount will depend on geographic location, applicable experience, and the candidate's skillset.
