Job Title: Immigration Case Manager/Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
Case Manager Duties:
- Oversee case management from intake to resolution, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
- Coordinate with staff to gather documents, evidence, and case information.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date case files, both digital and physical.
- Monitor case progress and proactively address any issues or delays.
- Provide regular updates to staff and clients.
- Track billable hours, expenses, and other case-related costs for accurate invoicing.
Client Communication:
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing updates.
- Relay case developments, court dates, and key information to clients promptly and clearly.
- Collect client feedback to ensure expectations are met and concerns are resolved.
- Offer compassionate support during challenging times, maintaining professionalism and sensitivity.
Case Analysis and Research:
- Conduct preliminary case analysis and gather relevant information.
- Assist in drafting case summaries, memos, and other documents for case preparation.
- Review and analyze discovery materials, witness statements, and other related documents.
- Compile and organize evidence, exhibits, and case materials.
- Collaborate with staff to develop case strategies.
Client Service Excellence:
- Ensure all client interactions uphold the company's commitment to professionalism and service excellence.
- Anticipate client needs and address concerns proactively.
- Deliver high-quality work with timely updates and personalized attention.
- Seek ways to improve the client experience and streamline case management.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with staff to support workflow and task coordination.
- Promote a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
- Act as a resource and point of contact for team members needing guidance or information.
Client Advocacy:
- Advocate for client needs, ensuring their concerns are addressed effectively.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and staff, facilitating communication and managing expectations.
- Provide guidance, reassurance, and support throughout the process.
- Anticipate potential challenges, mitigating risks to achieve favorable outcomes.
Education and Experience Information:
- Associate’s degree or Paralegal Certificate (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in immigration and/or estate planning law.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple cases at once.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Compassionate, professional demeanor and dedication to providing exceptional client care.
Salary Information:
- Pay: $40, - $60, per year
