Job Title: Foreclosure Complaint Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Draft and file mortgage foreclosure complaints in compliance with Florida court procedures.
- Request and interpret title reports and notes to ensure accurate filing.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates.
- File complaints and amended complaints with Florida courts, ensuring all documentation is correct and submitted in a timely manner.
- E-file and serve motions and pleadings as required.
- Utilize BKFS and client systems for case management and documentation.
- Manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with a high-performing legal team to ensure the successful handling of foreclosure cases.
Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in drafting and filing initial and amended foreclosure complaints is required.
- Familiarity with Florida court procedures and e-filing systems is essential.
- Experience with LPS/Black Knight and complaint drafting is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a law office setting, specifically related to foreclosure litigation for plaintiffs, is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, is required.
