Job Title: Marketing Assistant
Job Responsibilities:
The Marketing Assistant at the law firm is responsible for a variety of administrative and digital marketing-related tasks in support of the US Marketing Department. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing general support to the marketing department, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Conducting research on market trends, clients, and prospects, and preparing detailed reports to support business development initiatives.
- Supporting event planning, scheduling, and execution, which includes:
- Assisting in developing invitation lists, sending invitation mailings, and tracking RSVPs.
- Organizing registration, preparing name tags and branded materials, greeting attendees, and addressing guest needs during events.
- Preparing pre-event materials, conducting tech checks with IT, and visiting venues.
- Analyzing and reporting on the performance of event or mailing analytics, such as invitations, client alerts, social media posts, and webpages, and identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Maintaining the Business Development Activities Newsletter and distributing relevant information monthly for global requests.
- Assisting in the distribution and posting of client alerts via Vuture and promoting thought leadership content on the firm's webpage and social media platforms.
- Drafting, producing, and disseminating marketing materials, including web page and attorney bio updates, brochures, client alerts, letters, and firm announcements.
- Submitting budget items for reimbursement and ensuring proper coding to relevant expense areas.
- Updating marketing sections related to the . within the firm's internal systems, such as the Within platform.
- Facilitating onboarding for new partners from a marketing perspective, including updating bios, scheduling photographers, and coordinating welcome materials.
Education and Experience Information:

- Previous experience in marketing or business development, preferably in a professional services or law firm environment, is desired.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is necessary.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, especially InterAction or comparable platforms, is important.
- Experience utilizing social media tools such as LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), and others in a corporate capacity is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is crucial.

- Willingness to attend or run events during early mornings or late evenings as required is expected.
