Job Title:
Software Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- Elevate code quality by championing test-driven development, maintaining code hygiene, and promoting clean architecture across the team.
- Lead agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and incremental delivery, with a focus on iteration and value delivery.
- Design and implement scalable, robust systems across the backend using Python and FastAPI, frontend using React, and cloud infrastructure with AWS.
- Set and uphold high standards for code quality, testing, performance, and maintainability.
- Drive technical alignment by leading code reviews, design reviews, and engineering discussions, resulting in well-documented decisions.
- Champion documentation efforts by authoring and reviewing technical design documents to guide team implementation and maintain long-term clarity.
- Build systems with resilience, fault tolerance, observability, and graceful degradation in mind, and guide the team in applying principles of reliability and operational excellence.
- Lead incident response and learning processes, participate in and improve incident response processes, drive actionable postmortems, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on roadmap priorities and delivery timelines.
Education and Experience Information:
- Full-Stack/ Front-end Experience is a nice to have.
- React Experience is a nice to have.
Salary Information:
- The anticipated full-time annualized salary range is $120,000 - $200,000 USD.
- Salary will be contingent upon various factors, including relevant experience, market data, job location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
