Job Title: Security Coordinator - (Hybrid Schedule)

Job Responsibilities:
The Security Coordinator at the law firm is responsible for supporting the firm's Global Security team in safeguarding the firm’s personnel, property, and operations across its international locations. The coordinator's duties include:

- Monitoring global security developments and assessing potential risks to the firm's personnel, facilities, and operations.
- Assisting in identifying, reporting, and responding to physical security threats, workplace violence concerns, internal/external fraud attempts, and travel-related risks.
- Tracking and documenting security incidents, preparing detailed incident reports, and providing updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Supporting the firm’s crisis communication tools and ensuring readiness for emergency communication.
- Providing logistical and administrative support for the firm’s electronic security systems, including access control and visitor management.
- Monitoring firmwide travel security operations and providing real-time tracking, advice, and assistance to international travelers.
- Supporting planning and coordination of security for firm events, including logistics and threat assessments.
- Collaborating with the Global Security team and Office Services to maintain business continuity and emergency response readiness.
- Conducting basic physical security inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with firm policies and local regulations.
- Preparing internal security communications, metrics reports, and presentations related to incidents, trends, or risk awareness.
- Maintaining communication with law enforcement or external partners under the guidance of the Senior Manager of Global Security.
- Coordinating external vendors or consultants engaged in the physical security or executive protection efforts of the firm.
- Participating in ongoing training and assisting in delivering basic security awareness or emergency response education to firm staff.
- Performing other tasks and special projects as assigned by the Senior Manager of Global Security.

Education and Experience Information:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Public Safety, Organizational Security, or related field is required. Equivalent Military/Law Enforcement and/or Security Operations experience is preferred.
- An advanced degree in global security, intelligence, or a related field is preferred. Additional professional certifications such as Certified Fraud Examiner, global studies, or security management training are desired.
- Certification in CPR, first aid, etc., is required and must be maintained.

Experience:
- A minimum of 4 years in the security field with substantial experience dealing with various types of security matters in an international law firm setting.
- Experience in professional services, law enforcement, or fire services is considered a plus.
- Experience with CCURE access control systems is considered a plus.

Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Adaptability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while delivering accurate, high-quality work within deadlines.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex information clearly and professionally.
- Solid understanding of physical security operations, including access control systems and related technologies.

Salary Information:
The anticipated pay range for the Security Coordinator position at the law firm varies based on location and experience, with the following hourly rates:
- Denver, Houston & Dallas: - per hour
- Chicago: - per hour
