We are currently seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to join our team and provide vital legal support to our Securities Litigation Team.
As a Senior Litigation Paralegal, you will work closely with our team of attorneys to manage projects and provide support throughout the litigation process. This role requires at least three years of experience as a litigation paralegal, strong research skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Securities and trial experience is also necessary for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Proofreading and fact-checking legal documents drafted by attorneys
- Organizing and coordinating document productions
- Preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials
- Indexing discovery documents
- Creating tables of contents and tables of authorities for court submissions
- Conducting legal and internet research using various electronic research sites
- Acting as a liaison between internal departments and outside agencies
- Other duties as assigned based on case needs
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Filesite
- Prior experience managing document production and review using Relativity, Concordance, and other database tools
- Knowledge of procedures for electronic filing in Federal and State courts
- Familiarity with ECF and court rules and procedures
- Federal court trial experience
- Strong technical skills and ability to learn new litigation support software quickly
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Analytical and critical thinking skills
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
- Flexibility to work overtime, including evenings and weekends, when necessary
The work shift for this position is 9:30am-5:30pm, five days a week, with flexibility for overtime. The salary range for this position is $110-120,000/year.
