Law Firm Seeking Financial Operations Analyst with Competitive Salary and Benefits
Polsinelli, a leading law firm, is seeking a Financial Operations Analyst to join their team in one of five locations: Chicago, Dallas, Kansas City, New York, or St. Louis. Responsibilities:
• Monitor and report on client pricing arrangements, identifying risks and providing follow-up as needed
• Collaborate with attorneys to develop pricing proposals and budgets, navigating challenges due to client requirements
• Analyze data and trends to formulate alternative solutions for engagement and client profitability
• Assist in responding to Request for Proposals (RFP) and provide financial/business impact to management and executive leadership
• Work with senior management to improve processes and implement new ideas
• Understand firm profitability models to support pricing decisions
• Analyze contingency fee cases and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional departments and team members
• Deliver high-quality, accurate, and timely service to attorneys and clients
• Complete special projects as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field, MBA preferred
• 2-3 years of financial reporting and analysis experience
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment with changing priorities and time pressures
• Proficient in advanced MS Excel functions and experience with SQL Reporting Services, Cognos BI, and SQL queries
Salary and Benefits:
• Budgeted salary range: $85,000 - $120,000
